MedInfnity Inc. has been actively building strong relationships with charitable institutions for the past few years. In line with the company’s commitment to its corporate social responsibility and helping the Filipino people, MII donated to one of its partner institutions, House of Hope Davao to celebrate Survivor’s Day 2020.
Survivor’s Day is an annual celebration on every 8th of December. It is a meaningful gathering to celebrate the lives of individuals who suffered from fighting cancer. What started as a celebration between a number of patients has grown to over 500 participants from Mindanao. Survivor’s Day is a special event dedicated to recognizing all the hardships the children have gone through from chemotherapy to recovery.
“As the country continues to experience the threat of the coronavirus, it has brought an added weight to the lives of children with cancer. This year, Christmas is celebrated differently from the annual tradition to prevent the risk of contracting the virus from social gatherings. ”
Thus, as a gesture of help, Medinfinity Inc. decided to pledge a total of 100 food buckets to be given to the children of the foundation. In this way, they can celebrate on their own time with their families and safely in their own homes. The Christmas season is a special time for children and as it is approaching, there are still ways to make it remarkable amidst the pandemic.
Medinfinity Inc. hopes that with such a gesture, it was able to bring a smile to the children. The company prides itself as one of the leading pharmaceutical firms in the country. But, more than that, they are committed to providing medicine to cancer patients in the country and support to the medical community in times of need.
